Infertility Therapy in the Bay Area

Nobody talks about what happens when you hear that you have challenges with getting/staying pregnant. First there's the shock of finding out something isn't working the way it's supposed to. Then comes a crash course in medical terms you never wanted to learn, and suddenly your calendar isn't yours anymore, it's built around appointments, injections, and windows of time that someone else decided matter. Add in the financial weight of it all, and your life doesn't feel like one you've worked so hard to build. It feels like you're living in a capsule, sealed off, waiting, what ifs, while everyone else's world keeps moving.

If this is where you are, I get it, and you don't have to carry it alone anymore.

How we work together

REMEMBER

No one prepares you for a calendar that isn't yours anymore, injections and appointments dictating months at a time. Underneath that frustration, there's often something older too, a lesson about earning your place, about being capable enough that nothing should be this hard. If you grew up as the dependable one, or translating the world for immigrant parents, that lesson runs deep.

Motherhood wasn't supposed to be the one thing pushing through would fix.

That's where we start, understanding the ways old standards no longer fit this stage of your life.

REALIGN

From there, we work with what's happening in your body right now, the stress of the cycles, the waiting, the appointments that hijack your sense of control. This isn't about pushing through it. It's about learning to stay steady inside something that was never designed to feel steady.

RECLAIM

And through it, you rebuild trust in yourself, regardless of how the medical part turns out. That trust is something no procedure can give you. It's something we build here.

Questions you might have

What is infertility therapy?
It's therapy built specifically around what infertility actually puts you through, the grief that isn't always visible to people around you, the loss of control over your own timeline, and a body that can start to feel like it's working against you. It's different from general therapy because you're not spending sessions explaining medical terms or what a failed cycle feels like, we start from where you actually are.
Can therapy actually help with infertility?
Therapy doesn't change the medical process, but it can change how much of your life gets swallowed by it. Most women I work with come in overwhelmed and leave with a way to hold the uncertainty without it running the whole show.
Is this different from regular therapy?
Infertility has its own emotional terrain, grief that isn't always visible to people around you, timelines that aren't yours to control, and a body that can start to feel like it's working against you. This work is built specifically around that.
What does it mean that you're PMH-C certified?
PMH-C stands for Perinatal Mental Health Certification, awarded through Postpartum Support International. It means I've completed specialized training in reproductive and perinatal mental health, beyond my general license as a Marriage and Family Therapist. This is the actual focus of my training, not something added on later. When you're in a season this specific, working with someone whose training matches it closely can make a real difference.
Do you work with couples, or just individuals?
I work with individuals. If your partner is also struggling, I'm happy to talk through referral options for couples support alongside our individual work.
Do you also support pregnancy loss?
Pregnancy loss and infertility often overlap, and I work with both.
Do you take insurance?
I'm an out of network provider, and I provide a superbill you can submit for possible reimbursement.
What makes working with you different?
You're done performing a version of yourself that's no longer sustainable, while still showing up every day for a child who needs you. You want to run your own life again, not just react your way through motherhood. Because I've lived pieces of what brings women like you through my door, you don't have to educate me on why you've spent your life meeting everyone else's expectations first, I already understand that weight. What we do instead is decide together what you're keeping and what you're finally allowed to put down. What you get isn't a fixed version of yourself, it's one fluid enough to keep evolving with your child, and grounded enough to trust while she does.

Your invitation isn't to perform calm. It's to finally put it down.
