Free virtual support group for BIPOC moms

Mamas Sama Sama

What to expect

Sama Sama is Tagalog for mothering together. That's exactly what this is.

A free virtual support group for mothers of color who are carrying a lot and could use a space where they don't have to explain why.

No curriculum. No fixing. No advice unless you ask for it. Just other women who get it, sitting together for an hour.

Mama's Sama Sama is a free online peer support group for moms navigating the emotional weight of motherhood, including postpartum anxiety, identity shifts, and the invisible load that comes with being the strong one.

We meet on the 3rd Wednesday of every month, 12 to 1pm, over Google Meet. You can join from anywhere in California.

It helps to have your camera on so we can really see each other, but there's no pressure.

This is not therapy. It's community. A space to be heard by women who are in a similar season and understand what you're carrying without you having to over-explain it.

Who is this for

This group was created to center the experiences of mothers of color in the Bay Area and throughout California. If you're a mom who has been doing it all quietly, showing up for everyone else, and wondering who's showing up for you, this is your room.
